Edith Smith, 89, of St. Paul, passed away Monday, March 8, 2010.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 10, at the Minneapolis Jewish Cemetery Chapel, in Richfield.
Edith was a resident of Granite Falls for 66 years before moving to St. Paul. Edith cared so deeply for her neighbors and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elik Smith; son, Bill Smith; brother, Leo Stern; son-in-law, George Plowman.
Edith is survived by her daughters, Nadine Plowman and Ellen (Tom) Jackson; grandchildren: Matthew (Lisa), Jeremy (Lillie), Nicholas (Tiffany) and Andrew Plowman, T. J. (Paulette) Jackson; great-grandchildren: Allyssa, Amanda. Brandon, Mason, Tatiana, Ashley, Aidan, Sasha; special niece, Maxine Smith; and other loving nieces and nephews.
Memorials preferred to the Johnson Hospice Care Agency.
