    Six runs in the second inning Friday sparked Yellow Medicine East in a 12-3 victory against Minnewaska in Glenwood.


     


    The Sting tallied 10 hits, compared to Minnewaska’s eight. Yet Minnewaska racked up seven errors to YME’s two.

    Six runs in the second inning Friday sparked Yellow Medicine East in a 12-3 victory against Minnewaska in Glenwood.
     
    The Sting tallied 10 hits, compared to Minnewaska’s eight. Yet Minnewaska racked up seven errors to YME’s two.
     
    Brandon Grund was the catalyst offensively for the Sting with a three hit, two RBI performance. Devon Dyrdahl and Adam Koepke also knocked in runs for YME who are now1-1 in the conference and 3-2 overall.
     
    On the mound, Austin Thorstad went five innings for the Sting; striking out four in the victory.
