    Yellow Medicine East placed fourth Thursday and matched third place Benson/Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg stroke for stroke swinging 228 at the first West Central Conference South meet at Granite Run Golf Course in Granite Falls.

    Yellow Medicine East placed fourth Thursday and matched third place Benson/Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg stroke for stroke swinging 228 at the first West Central Conference South meet at Granite Run Golf Course in Granite Falls.
     
    BOLD easily took first place honors with a 186, 19 strokes better than second place Montevideo (205). BOLD placed all four scoring golfers in the top four at Granite Run Thursday; claiming the top three places out-right.
     
    Freshman Erica Moritz led the Sting at their home conference meet; swinging a 51. Senior Claressa Thielen was next on the team with a 57, while sister Cassie Thielen and fellow senior Tianna Gardner rounded out the Sting card with 60s.
