    Ungraciously, BOLD employed home-course advantage; placing five golfers in the top five to win the third meet of the West Central Conference South championship points race Monday in Olivia.

    Ungraciously, BOLD employed home-course advantage; placing five golfers in the top five to win the third meet of the West Central Conference South championship points race Monday in Olivia.
     
    Yellow Medicine East slid into fifth place at the meet and retains their fourth place standing in the conference race.
     
    Erica Moritz and Claressa Thielen led the Sting with both swinging 53. Tianna Gardner and Cassie Thielen filled out the YME card with a 54 and 62, respectively.
    BOLD’s Chloe Altmann was the meet medalist with a 42 to lead BOLD to their third straight WCC-S victory over the first three meets.   
     
    Lac qui Parle Valley hosts the next conference meet next Monday at Madison.

    Yellow Medicine East placed fourth at the second West Central Conference South meet of the season with a combined score of 223 to finish 43 strokes behind meet champion and conference favorite BOLD Thursday in Atwater.
     
    Leah Jeseritz led the Sting with a 52 on the day. Claressa Thielen and Erica Moritz matched each other with 55s, while Cassie Thielen came into the clubhouse with a 61.
     
    BOLD’s Ashley Schmitz won the meet by carding a 40 to outpace what would be a tie for second place by five strokes.
