    Montevideo used 11 hits to rack up 10 runs as they knocked-down Yellow Medicine East 10-4 Thursday at Richter Field in Granite Falls.


     


    The ThunderHawks pounded in six runs in the first three innings to take a commanding 6-1 lead, one YME would never threaten.

    Montevideo used 11 hits to rack up 10 runs as they knocked-down Yellow Medicine East 10-4 Thursday at Richter Field in Granite Falls.
     
    The ThunderHawks pounded in six runs in the first three innings to take a commanding 6-1 lead, one YME would never threaten.
     
    The Sting got within three runs in the fifth inning as they plated two, but Montevideo would pile on four more runs in the sixth to salt the game away.
    Sting pitcher, Aaron Zieske was forced to take the loss, but turned in a solid 2-for-4 performance from the plate with a double and an RBI.
     
    Reed Raddatz was YME’s only other offensive producer and went 2-for-4 with two RBIs.
     
    The Sting are now 3-7 overall and winless in six tries against the West Central Conference.
