  •     Memorial services for Kelly Kirschbaum were held at 11:00 a.m., May 23, 2012 at the Zahrbock Funeral Home Chapel in Madison. Rev. Kirk Meseck officiated at the service. Special music was provided by pianist Becky Knudson. Honorary urn bearers included: Brock Olson, Chris Bauman, Jerry Jasmer, Kim Janiseski, Donnie Peters and Robert Herberg. Private burial will be at a later date.
        Kelly Joe Kirschbaum was born on September 22, 1971 to Judy Moseng in Granite Falls. He attended Granite Falls Lutheran Church where he was baptized and confirmed. Kelly attended school in Granite Falls.
        Kelly met Kelly Ehlen in 1998 and became a father to her two children, Mitchell and Samantha. Kelly and Kelly married on May 31, 2001 in Granite Falls. To this union one child was born, Trevor. Kelly and Kelly resided around the area for many years before settling in Madison in 2004.
        In life, Kelly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, snowmobiling, riding dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, fishing, camping! Kelly enjoyed collecting many things including Peanuts "Snoopy", Harley Davidson items, and many car models. Kelly enjoyed working in his garage and tinkering with his "toys".
        Death came to Kelly on May 15, 2012 at the Madison Hospital. He had reached the age of 40 years, 7 months, and 23 days.
        He is survived by his wife Kelly of Madison, sons: Mitchell (Stephanie) Ehlen of Madison; Trevor Kirschbaum of Madison; daughters: Samantha Ehlen of Madison; and Hannah Sexton of Granite Falls; a brother Randy (Ivy) Kirschbaum of Montevideo; one nephew, Jacob Kirschbaum; and 2 nieces, Brianna and Makayla Ehlen; mother-in law Mary Thoma; brother-in-law Chris (Michelle) Ehlen as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
        He is preceded in death by his mother, Judy Moseng Kirschbaum; uncle, Galen Moseng; and his grandparents.
