The Granite Falls Campus of Minnesota West Community & Technical College’s Fluid Power Technology program, a 2-year technical program housed at the Granite Falls Campus, has had 100% job placement rate for the class of 2012.
“This is not uncommon for this program,” said Campus Dean Linda DeGriselles, “but to have all of the graduates placed in jobs at the time of graduation is exceptional. It speaks volumes for the quality of instruction, the placement assistance by the advisor, and the demand in the industry in general.”
Job placement for the Class of 2012 Fluid Power Technology Graduates included companies such as Dakota Fluid Power, SunSource, Brandt Automation, Catco, Venture Hydraulics, and Hydrocontrol, as well as other companies located in Minnesota and South Dakota. The Fluid Power Technology Program at the Granite Falls Campus continues to experience high demand for graduates from the program, with employers contacting the campus on a regular basis looking for employees.
