  • Citizens invited to attend conservation meeting in Clarkfield

  • As a Yellow Medicine County citizen with an interest in our natural resources, you are invited to attend a public meeting to discuss the various USDA conservation programs including the Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP).  We hope you can join us on Monday, August 13th, 2012 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Ag Service Center in Clarkfield, MN for a Stakeholder/Listening Session.

  • As a Yellow Medicine County citizen with an interest in our natural resources, you are invited to attend a public meeting to discuss the various USDA conservation programs including the Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP).  We hope you can join us on Monday, August 13th, 2012 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Ag Service Center in Clarkfield, MN for a Stakeholder/Listening Session.
    The main purpose of the Stakeholder/Listening Session is to review and recommend potential changes in local priorities for spending the Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) funds.  You are invited to the meeting to:
    •Have input on local conservation efforts.
    •Assist the Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) with prioritizing conservation resource concerns and geographic priority areas in Yellow Medicine County.
    •Have a better understanding of the Minnesota NRCS Environmental Quality Incentive Program.
    Producer participation in this meeting is welcomed and encouraged.  Please plan on joining us on Monday, August 13th, 2012 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. at the Ag Service Center in Clarkfield, Minnesota.  Please call our office at 320-669-4442 Extension 3 if you have any questions about this meeting.  Hope to see you on the 13th of August.
