Seeking actors, musicians and volunteers of ALL AGES
No experience required

Join Clean Up the River Environment (CURE) and the Meandering River Walk Artists to create a community-based theater production based on the history of Granite Falls that will take place along the riverbank during the 2012 Meander Opening Celebration.

For the past few months, theater artists Ashley Hanson and Andrew Gaylord have been collecting the stories of Granite Falls through individual and group interviews, historical research and Story Swap Workshops. The stories gathered have informed the script for the outdoor theater performance.

On August 24 and 25, we will be holding open auditions at the K.K. Berge Building for those interested bringing the stories of Granite Falls to life. We are looking for actors, singers, storytellers, musicians, dancers, visual artists, Granite Falls-enthusiasts, costume and prop-makers, volunteers and project assistants. No experience necessary and all ages and abilities are encouraged to participate.

For more information or to sign-up for an audition:
Contact Ashley at 952.486.0533 or emailmeanderingriverwalk@gmail.com
OR stop by the K.K. Berge building during open auditions.

Rehearsals will take place weekends in September

Performances on Friday, October 5th
