Warren Hartmann, 55, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and formerly of Gibbon, and Omaha, NE, died Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls.
Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at St. Willibrord’s Catholic Church in Gibbon with Father Tony Hesse celebrating the Mass. Burial followed in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Granite Falls.

Warren is survived by his wife, Cory Hartmann of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and David Neuman of Cottonwood, Nicole and Zach Burns of Hanley Falls; a grandson, Teagan Neuman; parents, Otto M. and Mary Jane Hartmann of Gibbon; mother-in-law, Joyce Anderson of Granite Falls; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lenora and Jerome Zitzman of New Ulm, Mary Ellen and Melvin Eckstein of Fairfax, Jermayne and Duane Mages of Paynesville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael and Diane Hartmann of Gibbon, Roger and Janet Hartmann of Kansas City, Kansas, Otto Jr. and Bonnie Hartmann of Gibbon, Greg Hartmann of Castle Rock, Colorado; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Todd and Lois Anderson of Willmar; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; and by his father-in-law, Jim Anderson.
Warren Frederick Hartmann was born October 12, 1956 in New Ulm to Otto and Mary Jane (Wendinger) Hartmann. He was a 1975 graduate of Gibbon High School and was also a 1977 graduate of Granite Falls AVTI in Fluid Power. Warren was united in marriage to Cory Anderson on August 12, 1978 at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church in Granite Falls. He was employed as an Inside Salesman at A & L Hydraulics in their Omaha, Nebraska office and then in their Sioux Falls, South Dakota office for the past five years. Warren loved his family, friends, and community. He enjoyed playing softball and coaching his daughter's softball teams, golfing, being a handyman and weekend farming.
Warren was a member of the St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Omaha, St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Sioux Falls, the Millard Jaycees, the Millard Days Committee, Millard South Post Prom Committee and Booster Club and the Knights of Columbus.
