Delphane Marian DeMello, 78, formerly of Echo, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012, in Sun City, California.
Memorial Services were held on Thursday, October 11, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Menifee, California. Burial will be at a later date at Riverside National Cemetery.
Delphane was born in Granite Falls on August 22, 1934 to Ervin and Orva Markgraf. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.
Delphane graduated from Echo High School, attended Gale Institute and worked for the Navy Dept in Washington, D.C.
Delphane married Paul Clayton DeMello, January 8, 1955 in Oceanside. California and worked for Auto Club of Southern California for 15 years. Delphane was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and a member of the Women's VFW Auxiliary.
Delphane is preceded in death by husband Paul and parents, Ervin and Orva Markgraf. She is survived by a brother, Leon (Betty) Markgraf, nephew Tony (Marie) Markgraf, grand nephews, Spencer and Jordan, grand niece, Madison Markgraf. special cousin Michael (Betty) Bahn, friend Michael Kenny and long time caregiver, Terry Brown.
