  • C. Alice Wilford, 85, of Arpin, WI, died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the House of the Dove. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, October 19 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield, WI. The Rev. Dale Wilford will officiate. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at the Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield....

  •    C. Alice Wilford, 85, of Arpin, WI, died Sunday, October 14, 2012 at the House of the Dove.
        Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Friday, October 19 at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home, Marshfield, WI. The Rev. Dale Wilford will officiate. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum at the Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.
        A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. till service time at the Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home on Friday.
        Alice was born January 26, 1927 in Sacred Heart,  the daughter of Anton and Andrine (Bjerkeset) Lalim. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School.
        On June 5, 1945 in East Moline, Illinois, Alice was united in marriage to Dale E. Wilford. Dale preceded Alice in death on November 7, 2003.
        Alice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed sewing, reading, crossword puzzles and flower gardening but most especially she enjoyed caring for her family.
        Mrs. Wilford was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Church.
        She is lovingly survived by one son, Rev. Dale (Sue) Wilford, Arpin;  one daughter, Linda Schoenleben, Marshfield; grandchildren:  Matthew (Aubrey) Schoenleben, Thomas Schoenleben, Andrea (Terry) Mitchell; step grandchildren: Melissa (Terrence) Grimm and Matthew (Sheri) Koller; as well as great-grandchildren: Carter and Hayden; step great-grandchildren: Evelyn, Frederick and George. One sister, Mabel Slettedahl, Marshall,  further survives Alice.
        Sisters: Gladys, Randi and Ann; and brothers: Arthur, Melvin, Carl, Andrew, Albert and Ardell; as well as a son-in-law, Tom Schoenleben, Sr. further preceded Alice in death.
        In lieu of flowers, those wishing to offer an expression of sympathy in Alice’s memory are encouraged to do so to: House of the Dove.
