Living at Home Block Nurse Program (LAHBNP) volunteer Lynn Holmstrom says she loves delivering flowers for the annual LAHBNP Konfetty Rose fundraiser.
“It’s just so much fun to deliver the roses because of the responses you get. I’ve even had tears because the people have been so touched by it,” she said.
The LAHBNP offers services that help to keep local seniors living in their homes, whether it be through grocery purchase and delivery, transportation services, minor home repair, or other means.
“This is our largest, most effective fundraiser” said Holmstrom. “Community support is essential to keep the program running. Roses are often purchased for family members, co-workers and other friends and loved ones.”
The flowers can be purchased through the month of October, with delivery scheduled for November 5. Individuals interested in ordering roses can stop in at the LAHBNP office on Prentice Street or contact the office by phone at 564-3235.
