    It’ll be a long season this year for the Yellow Medicine East girls basketball team and Montevideo made it a notch longer  with a 64-30 victory on YME’s home court Thursday in Granite Falls.
    Two players from Montevideo out scored the YME team. Montevideo’s Ashley Hoehne scored 22 points and Tia Diggins had 19 in the West Central South Conference tilt.
    Chyanne Sand, meanwhile, led the Sting with 11 points.
