Springtime is around the corner.
Pretty soon we will hear the roar of the mighty mower or weed whip.
Soon the grill will bring that wonderful aroma in the air,
Or maybe the fresh cut grass, or listen to the birds singing their morning song,
The sunshine shall rise and bring warmth to our soul.
Soon we will be able to be next to a river or a lake and cast our lines in,
Or go by the river and listen
Soon the farmers will be out in the fields to turn over the soil,
Or families will be out with smiling faces downtown.
The popcorn stand will soon be open,
Or the sound of the bat hitting ball and people cheering.
Soon the flowers and trees shall show their buds.
Soon and very soon the warm weather and rain will come with the thunder.
