Benson 80, YME 47
It was the Matt Ahrndt show Tuesday night as the Benson guard went for 31 points to quiet an already sparse Espeland crowd in a 80-47 drubbing of the home team.
Yellow Medicine East sophomore guard Blake Lindstrom tried to keep pace with Ahrndt, who rolled in lay-up after lay-up, by lighting up threes from the outside on his way to 17 points on the night.
Center Logan DeBlieck chipped in 13 points and a team-high six rebounds for the Sting who are now 0-9 in conference play and 1-11 overall.
The Sting get another chance at home Thursday night against conference foe Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City.
