    Junior guard Kelly Anderson continued her growth in the Sting offense with 12 points Tuesday night, yet Yellow Medicine East would be crushed on the road 65-38 by Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City in Grove City.
    Braelee Aus and Chyanne Sand would each add seven points a piece to the YME effort as the Sting fell to 0-11 in the West Central Conference and 2-15 overall.
    Senior guard Erica Melbie led the Falcons; converting 5-of-7 from beyond the arch on her way to scoring 20.

    The Sting trailed by five at halftime, but caught fire in the second half—doubling their scoring—to secure their second win of the season, 57-48, Thursday night against Redwood Valley at Espeland Gymnasium.
    Sophomore Chyanne Sand led the Sting turning in her best game of the season with double-doubleof 20 points and 10 rebounds. She also led the team in steals; harassing Redwood for seven.
    With the victory, the Sting snap a five-game losing streak. To secure the upset victory Yellow Medicine East scored 38 points in the second half; doubling their first half output of 19 points.
    Surprisingly, junior guard Kelly Anderson has become one of YME’s best rebounders and she led the team again Thursday night pulling down 11, while also tying teammate Danie Roden for the team lead in assists with four. Meanwhile, Dani Aus hit four treys from the outside on her way to scoring 14.
