  •    On behalf of Women’s Rural Advocacy Programs, Inc., the Staff, Board and Volunteers would like to thank The Southwest Initiative Foundation for their generous gift of $1000. Their commitment to helping our organization to be able to continue to provide a “Survivor Safety Net” to victims of domestic violence and their children in our community is sincerely appreciated.
Because of the donation from Southwest Initiative Foundation, WRAP will be able to serve a few more families whose lives have been affected by domestic violence.  Unfortunately, domestic violence knows no boundaries and affects one in four women at some point in their lives.  That “woman” we are speaking of maybe your mother, daughter, sister, aunt or friend or even you.
WRAP’s goal for the “Survivor Safety Net” is to continue to provide services such as personal support, safety planning, information about options available, transportation, safe shelter, and referrals to financial assistance. Because of Southwest Initiative’s generous donation, WRAP will be able to do just that.
Once again, we want to thank the Southwest Initiative Foundation for their generous support of our efforts.
