    May 10 Demo/debris
On Friday, May 10 the city wide clean up will take place from 8:00 a.m. until completion, to pick up the following materials:
•Debris and demo will be picked up at $9.60 per cubic yard which is the cost for disposal.
•Appliances including computers, monitors, TVs, and electronic waste will be picked up at the curb at a cost of $15 per item.  Please note that computer and monitors are considered one item.
•Bagged leaves and grass clippings will be picked up free of charge.
It was also noted that residents can continue to expect normal refuse pick up.
    Junked cars
Refuse haulers have indicated that if an individual is interested in disposing of a junked vehicle, these would be removed during the month of May free of charge on the condition that a clear ownership title can be provided.
In addition, during the clean-up the Granite Falls police will canvas the community for compliance with the city’s junked cars and household furnishing ordinances.
    Brush and debris
The Public Works Department will pick up brush and branches placed along either the boulevards or alleyways each and every Tuesday morning during the month of May.
Other questions can be addressed to City Hall at 564-3011.
