  • Jerome F. Kiklas, 66, of Minneapolis, formerly of Wood Lake, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2013.
Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Mary 225 W. 4th Street, Cottonwood, on Saturday, July 27, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.
Jerome was born in St. Cloud to Frank and Marie Kiklas on May 5, 1947. He grew up on his grandfather's farm in Wood Lake, graduated from Wood Lake High School in 1965 and attended St. Cloud State. He served in the Minnesota National Guard from 1964 to 1973 and attended Officers Candidate School in Fort Benning, GA. In 1973 he left the service as a 1st Lt. with Honors from the 47th Division Headquarters Co. in St. Cloud, after serving as liaison for their Mechanical Infantry Battalion. He was the Plant and Production manager at Zalk Steel in Minneapolis for nearly 26 years and then a Consultant and Manager of Gabby's Night Club in Minneapolis. Jerry was a man of good humor. He liked nothing better than pulling off a prank on unsuspecting friends and family, unless it was telling a great story.
He is survived by three sisters: Mary Lee McCain (Don) of Waseca, Cheryl Kiklas of Coon Rapids and Lynne Lottman (Steve) of Willmar and two sons: Christopher of Houston, TX and Mitchell of Minneapolis.
Arrangements are with Kozlak-Radulovich Funeral Chapel of Minneapolis.
