British police are looking into new information regarding the deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed, The Associated Press reports.
Scotland Yard would not give details on the information, but did say the information is being assessed for "relevance and credibility" by officers from its specialist crime and operations unit.
This does not mean the case of Diana's death is being reopened.
The Princess of Wales and her friend were killed in a car crash in Paris in August 1997. A British jury ruled in 2008 that they died due to reckless speed and drinking by their driver and the pursuit of paparazzi.
A new movie about the final years of the Princess' life, starring Naomi Watts, hits theaters Oct. 10.
