    The Sting lost by just one point in their first loss of the young season, defeated by a pair of free throws with only two seconds left in overtime.
    Regulation play ended with a tie of 49-49, which propelled the teams into an overtime where the lead switched hands several times.
    Kalli Forsell broke the tie at 55, followed by a failed three-quaters-court shot attempt by the Sting to take back control in the last second of play.
    Maddi Strandberg of the Fighting Saints was the overall leader with 18 points, three 3-point shots and six steals. Kelly Anderson had 14 points, one of which came from a 3-point shot, followed by Chyanne Sand with 13 points and four steals.
