  •     We feel our Ag in the Classroom event, held at the Minn. West campus on March 11-12, was very successful. The event was cancelled last year because of weather, so the schools each sent two grades this year – there were about 470 students from 11 schools and home schooling.
A big thank you to the presenters – Corn, Soybeans, Dairy, Turkey, Farm Bureau and MN Valley REC on safety, Pork, Beef and YMC Conservation, the FFA students for their assistance guiding kids to the classrooms, and the MN West custodial staff for their extra work.
A special thanks to Supt. Al Stoeckman, Bert Raney Elementary secretary Liz DeBlieck, and MN West Dean of Students Linda DeGrieselles, for their invaluable work and support in organizing this year’s event.
