Rice Hospice of Granite Falls is one of just 100 hospices out of 1,200 across the nation to receive the Hospice Honors™ award. Established by Deyta, an industry leader in data driven management, the annual honor recognizes agencies that continuously provide the highest level of satisfaction through their care as measured from the caregiver’s point of view.
Agencies were recognized with the Hospice Honors™ award based on Family Satisfaction Scores, which are responses to 37 questions answered voluntarily by family members.
Mary Beth Potter, director of Rice Hospice, credits the award to the dedication of the Granite Falls hospice team’s compassionate, quality, end of life care. "I couldn’t be more proud of the Granite Falls hospice team," she said. "I’m not surprised the team won this award, because I see the quality services they provide every day Granite Falls satellite coordinator, Michele Prekker, and social worker, Lindsey Peterson, agreed, “We are part of a wonderful team of health and spiritual professionals and volunteers who provide compassionate and warm care for the journey. We are honored to care for our neighbors and their families”.
