The American Cancer Society (ACS) has celebrated 100 years of helping us “celebrate more birthdays.” The theme this year, is “Finish the Fight” – to transform cancer from deadly to preventable. When ACS began, only one in ten lives could be saved from cancer. Today, two in three people diagnosed with cancer are surviving! We are able to celebrate 400 more birthdays every day that would have otherwise been lost. The money raised IS making a difference.
