  • Teens receive minor injuries in rollover accident north of Clarkfield

    Three teenagers received minor injuries as a result of rollover accident four miles north of Clarkfield just off of Highway 59.
    According to the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office, Marcus Faulkner of Watson was driving east on 310th Ave. just east of Highway 59 at approximately 10:45 p.m. when he swerved to avoid an oncoming vehicle and lost control, resulting in his automobile rolling   several times.
    The Sheriff’s Office reported that Faulkner and his passengers, Jesse Bautistia, 17, and Dylan Killian, 16, both of Montevideo, were transported by ambulance to the Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital for minor injuries. All were wearing seat belts.
    The vehicle said to have initiated the circumstances leading to the accident reportedly kept driving, and the case remains under investigation by the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office.
    Along with the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office the Clarkfield Ambulance and Clarkfield Fire Department also responded to the accident.
