Miss Granite Falls Western Fest Ambassador Jeanine Rupp will travel to Minneapolis to participate in the Aquatennial Candidate Program and pageant.
Miss Granite Falls Western Fest Ambassador Jeanine Rupp will travel to Minneapolis to participate in the Aquatennial Candidate Program and pageant. Jeanine will spend a busy, but exciting week, capped by the 75th Anniversary Queen of the Lakes Coronation on Friday, July 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Ted Mann Concert Hall on the University of Minnesota campus.
During her stay some of the activities Rupp will experience include private parties, a ride in the Aquatennial Torchlight Parade, participation in several judged interviews, boat rides and “Meet the Candidates” scheduled from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23 at City Center. Rupp looks forward to having fun and making new friendships and learning more about Minneapolis during her stay.
It's been a fun‐filled year for the daughter of Kim and Dave Rupp. Rupp reign as Miss Granite Falls Ambassador will come to an official close as she participates in the Minneapolis Aquatennial celebration and competes for the title and crown. Rupp favorite part of her reign as Miss Granite Falls Ambassador is having the opportunity to meet people from all around Minnesota. She keeps busy with fishing, reading, spending time with friends, listening to music and going for walks.
Rupp was Valedictorian of her graduating class and received the John Philip Sousa award for Band. She is involved with Jazz band, Marching band, Pep band, Choir, Jazz Choir, Chamber Choir, Musical (pit band), Student Council, Knowledge Bowl, Red Cross Youth, School Newspaper, Yearbook Staff, Tennis, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a member of the National Honor Society.
Rupp attends Concordia College in Moorhead, MN where she studies Music Education.
