Typically known for its great food, good time and soulful music, next Friday, April 8, Bootlegger’s Supper Club will be recognized for its murder mystery dinner theater.
The Marshall Area Stage Company, in association with the Granite Arts Council, will be presenting “the crown jewel of the murder mystery genre,” Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap.”
Opening in the West End of London in 1952, it is the longest running full length play in London, drawing countless theatre goers with its whimsical characters and famous twist ending.
The suspense begins when a group of strangely secretive and highly suspicious guests check in, one by one, to a rural English hotel recently opened by a charming couple.
Fueled by a radio report of a London murder and the subsequent arrival of a detective sergeant on skis, tensions mount, accusations are made, and clues are uncovered.”
The one time show begins at 6:30 p.m. at Bootlegger’s. A buffet meal, included with price of admission, will accompany the entertainment.
Tickets can be purchased at Bootlegger’s in advance of the show for $20 on a first come first served basis. Seating is limited.
