On Saturday the Henry Hill Apartments and Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to host a fun-filled afternoon geared around little oval eggs, a big bushy tail and a bunch of bright smiles. Yes, it’s a good ol’ fashioned Easter Egg Hunt.
Set for April 3, from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., Henry Hill Property Manager has Laura Ramirez is excited about the event that she has set to commence in the beatific and underutilized green space and patio area situated behind the apartment complex, which is located across the street from the library.
Ramirez said that she was able to organize the outing with the assistance of area businesses who have donated various items such as treats, prizes and other Easter Egg Hunt additions.
She said that she hoped to create an event in which the seniors and town’s children could interact together, and Saturday’s docket should meet the mark.
The Easter Egg Hunt kicks off the day running from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m.. From 10:30 to 11:30 the kiddies and seniors will partner up to color eggs. Come noon, all will be served free BBQ, chips and pop.
Additional happenings will involve a boy and girl drawing for a LARGE Easter basket at noon as well as an appearance by the Easter Bunny himself, who should be present earlier in the day.
The entire community is welcome, all that is required is a basket for collecting eggs.
