The Sting boys played Lakeview last Thursday night. The first half was fairly even. Lakeview eeked out a small lead. Towards the end of the half the Sting had the lead, and then Lakeview scored a last second basket to pull ahead 34-33.

During the second half the teams stayed close for quite a while. Then Lakeview got a chain of 3 pointers, causing the crowd to chant back and forth at each other. The Lakers hit a hot streak during the last 10 minutes. The team kept putting shots down and pulling ahead. Both teams upped the pace, but when the buzzer rang, the final score was 83-63.

Coach Sueter had this to say. "This was our best offensive game of the year. We were over 100% efficency (note: 100% efficency means for every possession the team should score 1 point) It was fun to see that. Unfortunately to give up 83...they were hot, they hit some big shots, but we also allowed them some shots. Hopefully we'll come back a bit better on the defensive end next week. Will Jeseritz was sick, and he's one of our best defensive players. That probably had part to do with it, and we ran out of gas, but they also had some good shots."
