The Montevideo City Council received bids for the 2017 street improvements. The bids ranged from the low bid from Duininck, Inc., at $1,094,135.65 to $1,386,253.75. The low bid includes watermain improvements related to the levee project at $76,633.
A resolution setting a final public hearing on the 2017 street improvement projects was adopted. The final hearing will be held on Monday, May 15. The hearing will be held at City Hall at 7 p.m.
Montevideo Municipal Liquor Store manager Tom Ryman presented his 2016 annual report to the council.
