The Home Care Department of Granite Falls Health has been serving people of Granite Falls, and the 30 mile radius, in their homes now for 35 years. The Granite Health Home Care Department started back in 1982 with Marlene Moe as the Nursing Director and Dr. Ken Carter as the Medical Director. The first Home Care office was in the basement of the Granite Falls Municipal Hospital. Home Care Nursing has become an important part of a hospital discharge plan for continuity of care as people continue to be discharged quicker from acute care hospital stays.
