The Kilowatts kicked off their season against Marshall on Sunday. Marshall scored an early lead with a run in the first inning, but the Kilowatts caught up with a run in the second. Marshall broke away during the fourth and fifth innings, racking up six more runs total. The kilowatts rallied in the bottom of the 6th, and tied up the game 7-7. During the seventh inning, both teams scored two more runs. The game went into extra innings, remaining scoreless until Marshall scored two more in the top of the eleventh. The Kilowatts couldn’t come back and lost 11-9.
