The Granite Falls Ambulance and Kilowatts held their annual tournaments last weekend. The heat did not distract the golfers from having a good time and putting up some good scores. Friday night the Ambulance kicked off the weekend with the Fund Day golf tournament. Sixty six golfers took over the course with their eyes on bringing home the trophy or maybe just having a little fun. In the end it was the Granite Falls Lions team of Ben Rillo, Art Rillo, Dave Nordaune, Mark Jensen and Tim Knapper carding a 30 who took home the trophy. The Fire Department once again bested the Ambulance squad in their own challenge.

Thank you Angie Midthun, Jana Berends-Sletten and the rest of the ambulance staff for a great event. Saturday was the Kilowatts turn. Again a tournament field of 60 golfers aimed to post the low score in high temperatures. Cole Anderson, Jordan Anderson, Ryan Fromm and Nick Richter bested the field. The group posted a 29 for top honors. Thank you Amy Richter and the Kilowatts for a fun day and evening.
