On Tuesday night the Kilowatt Community Center parking lot was filled with cars. People were coming not to work out, but to see Mark Moran exercise his vast knowledge to appraise pieces of history.
Granite Falls was the third stop of eight in this area.
Granite residents brought a lot of framed artwork. There were also a variety of dishes and glasses, a lighter, a tin stove, and even an antique coffee grinder. Moran found an identical grinder that had sold for over $500 just two years ago.
Even though a packed schedule can make the events blur together, Moran stated that the Granite residents have been wonderfully supportive, and he enjoyed learning about a slice of our history.
