Go Red for Women is a campaign by the American Heart Association that helps build awareness of heart disease and stroke as the number one killer in women. The American Heart Association recommends you be aware of key numbers, knowing your numbers can save your life. Talk to your healthcare provider to learn about your numbers regarding blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, and your body mass index (BMI). These numbers are vital in allowing your provider to determine your risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
