The Sting boys played Minnewaska last Thursday. Minnewaska exploded from the start, scoring seven runs in the bottom of the 1st inning. YME scored two runs in the second inning, and four in the 4th inning, catching up 6-7.

Minnewaska answered by scored three more runs in the bottom of the 4th and 5th innings, extending their lead 6-13. YME managed to score a single run in the top of the 7th before getting the third out, closing the game.

Angel Jimenez lead the sting with three hits, scoring one run and three RBIs. Carter Sneller also had three hits, scoring one run and two RBIs. Dalton Anderson pitched for the first three innings. He allowed seven hits, 10 runs, struck out two, and walked four. He had 10 errors. Asa Ulferts took over for the rest of the game. He allowed five hits, three runs, no strikeouts, walked five, and had three errors.
