The Granite Falls Chamber of Commerce will soon have a new Director. In a statement released on Tuesday, May 22, the Chamber announced that “Jennifer Penoyer has officially accepted the Executive Director position at the Granite Falls Chamber of Commerce.”

Penoyer is a 2016 graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Business Administration. According to the statement, Penoyer “spent the last five years living in the twin cities where she managed a large, retail clothing store.”

The Chamber added that Penoyer “is excited to combine her experiences and education to implement new strategies and to grow the Granite Falls community together. Jennifer currently resides on a 10 acre, family farm outside of Maynard with her Fiancé, Kyle.” The couple plan on getting married in Granite Falls on September 29.

“The two enjoy spending time with their friends and families and their Golden Retriever, Ava. She says that life on the farm is so much more peaceful and relaxing than the fast paced, city life,” the statement read. “She is excited to get to know everyone in the community and is excited to hear your needs and expectations from the Chamber!”
