The Kilowatts played another round of Regional games this weekend. Their first game was against Marshall. Marshall had defeated the Kilowatts the last time they played, so Granite came out ready for a challenge.

Both teams scored a run in the first inning. Marshall managed two runs in the 2nd, but Granite came back with two in the bottom of the 3rd. Neither team could get one up on the other. In the bottom of the 5th, Granite managed to sneak in another run. Marshall couldn’t answer back, and lost the game after failing to score in the top of the 9th 4-3.

Craig Listul lead the Kilowatts with two hits. He scored one run, and one RBI. Cam Vien scored one run. Zac Enevoldsen scored two runs. Colten Vien pitched for the Kilowatts. He threw 133 pitches across nine innings. He allowed three runs, two errors, seven hits, five walks, and six strikeouts.

On Sunday the Kilowatts played Bird Island. After a close win against Marshall, the Granite players were ready to build momentum into a winning streak. The Kilowatts got off to a strong start, scoring three runs in the early innings. They got the score up to 6-0 before Bird Island got some offense in the bottom of the 5th. Bird Island managed to score two runs, but the Kilowatts answered back with two more in the top of the 7th, winning with a total score of 8-2.

Cam Vien and Craig Listul lead the Kilowatts with three hits each. Vien and Zac Enevoldsen scored two runs apiece. Adam Brewers pitched for the Kilowatts. He threw 134 pitches across nine innings. He allowed two runs, two errors, 10 hits, one walk, and one strikeout.
