Santa’s set to arrive a little early this year. Don’t be surprised if it’s by horseback.
This Sunday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. a “Cowboy Christmas,” will be held at the Lee Mar Ranch, brining Santa, games, goodies and more.
Free and open to the public, the event is being organized by a group of dedicated volunteers and the Lee Mar Ranch Board.
“We wanted to have something that encourage community participation,” said board member Ginny Dambroten. “With Santa and some activities, we thought we could make a fun Christmas event that would appeal to everybody.”
Activities will include a roping game, stick horse races and either sleigh or wagon rides (depending on the weather).
Over the course of the Cowboy Christmas, a local 4-H chapter will sell refreshments while Justine Dambroten offers up her talents on the keyboard.
Last but not least, Henry and Foxy – everybody’s favorite mini-ponies – will also be present.
Santa will be available during the entirety of the event’s two hour run-time. Parents are asked to bring their own cameras.
