Area organizations and agencies that serve families with preschool children will have numerous displays and hands-on activity areas with play materials, creative projects and resource/informational handouts available to fair visitors in the BRE Gym.  Granite Falls Ambulance squad members will be on hand to give children a “tour” of an ambulance parked in front of BRE.
Musician Ross Sutter will lead a 20-25 minute interactive program of songs and singing games for young children at 5:45 and 6:30 p.m. in BRE Room 121.  Ross Sutter is a popular performer who is known for his baritone voice and his playing of a variety of folk instruments including guitar, button accordion and dulcimer.  He has performed on radio, television and at festivals, and works regularly in schools teaching the songs that he has collected over the years.  Ross has done programming for the Children’s Museum of Minnesota and the Walker Art Center’s family programs. He has a children’s CD, Mama Will You Buy Me a Banana?
Families with young children are invited to come and enjoy the fair offerings. There will also be a variety of door prizes given away.   The ECFE Fair is a great opportunity to register for ECFE classes and activities.
