A two car crash at the intersection of 240th Ave. and 560 St., located off of Highway 274 approximately one mile south of the Prairie’s Edge Casino Resort, resulted in injuries for each of the automobile’s singular occupants.
The crash occurred at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon and involved Tom Ross, driving a Cadillac Deville, and Mary Behr, a Buick Lucerne.
Ross was thought to have possibly sustained a broken leg and Behr a hip injury, according to emergency personnel present at the scene.
Both parties were transported to the Granite Falls Hospital. The Granite Falls Fire and Ambulance, Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene.
