Funeral services for Mikal Rose, infant daughter of Ben and Rebekah (Johnson) Devasahayam will be held at Rock Haven Church, 1858 U.S. Hwy. 212, Granite Falls, on Saturday, April 28 at 5 p.m. Interment will be Hawk Creek Church Cemetery in rural Sacred Heart.
Mikal Rose Devasahayam was born on March 13, 2018 Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington. Less than an hour later she peacefully passed from our loving arms to Jesus’s. Though her life was brief she touched many. Our loss is heaven’s gain.
Mikal is survived by her parents, Ben and Rebekah; her grandparents Sam and Sheila Devasahayam of Chennai, India, Doug and Peggy Johnson of Sacred Heart; her great grandparents John Arlen and Phyllis Johnson of Sacred Heart; Ken and Ruby Broten of Fergus Falls; her uncles and aunts, Joshua and Heeru Devasahayam of Chennai, India; Montana and Sarah Chamberlain of Chicago, Nathan and Stacy Johnson of Richmond, KY; Daniel and Rachael Phillips of Seneca, WI; Michael and Elizabeth Jopp of Kandiyohi; her cousins, Eshaan, Simone, Elliah, Nienna, Sophia, Ezra, Elijah, Corrie, Ada, Emma and several great and great-great aunts and uncles.

1. Children of the Promise, P.O. Box 123, Prinsburg, MN 56281. They are a childcare organization that cares for orphans, disabled and struggling families in Haiti, or
2. PureNations, Arka-butla Baptist Church P.O. Box 310 Arkabutla, MS 38602. They support eight residential orphan children and another eight children living with their grandparents in South India.
