Mary Ann Carroll (Martin), 69, of St. Paul, formerly of Asbury-Granite Falls, died in St. Paul on Sunday, January 3, 2010.
    Funeral services were held on January 8 in South St. Paul. She is buried at Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights.
    Mary Ann Carroll (Martin) was born November 25, 1941 in Albion, Nebraska to Bill and Agnes Martin.  She grew up in the Asbury- Granite Falls area and graduated from Granite Falls High School in 1959.  She married Gary Klien on April 2, 1963 in St. Paul and lived in St. Paul for most of her life.  They had 4 children.  On June 1, 2005 she married Bruce Carroll in Clara City. 
    She is survived by her husband, Bruce, of South St. Paul; her children Gary Jr. (Kathy) Klien of Woodbury, Kimberly (Terry) VanderHeiden of Inver Grove Heights, Lynn (Bill) Moser of Eagan, Mike (Sara) Klein of San Diego, California; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her mother, Agnes Martin of Clara City; three sisters; Rita (Felix) Thissen; Arlene (Robert) Stager of Clara City, Angela Lock of Shawnee, Oklahoma; three brothers, Donald Martin of Clara City, Ray (Marge) Martin of Granite Falls, and Joe Martin of Sacred Heart.
    She is preceded in death by her father, Bill Martin and brother-in-law, Carl Lock.
