The Sting gained a moment of glory last week when they faced off against Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley. Playing in the playoff season opener, the girls game away with a 5-4 win against the Wolverines. Leading by one run, the girls progressed to their next games against KMS.

Both the girls and boys golf teams had a chance to golf competitively on their home course. YME hosted a meet at the Granite Run Golf Course last Thursday on April 23.

The girls softball team has been showing signs of life as the season heats up. Facing off against the Redwood Valley Cardinals, the Sting girls pulled off 13 runs.

The gym was filled with determination and optimism at SMSU last week. The 3AA North champions, the YME Sting, prepared to face off against the South champions, the Fairmont Cardinals.

Awe and wonder have been filling the stands at the recent playoff games. Never imagined to have happened so soon, the YME girls basketball team has been taking down opponent after opponent on the court as they charge bravely throughout the section...
