Minnewaska 77, YME 50
Yellow Medicine East fell mightily in their final game of the regular season losing to Minnewaska 77-50 on senior night in Espeland Gymnasium.

Plagued by turnovers caused by Minnewaska’s trapping defense the Lakers rolled up a 41-22 lead by halftime and never looked back.

Senior post Brian Rosenau was the lone bright spot for the Sting as he notched another double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds in his final game at Espeland.

YME will now face top-seeded Montevideo in Montevideo in the opening round of the Section 3AA North playoffs. YME (1-6, 6-17) was seeded eighth in the Section.
