On Saturday 144 golfers lined up between two flights to take to Granite Run Golf course for the fourth annual Friends of Cory Golf Tournament.
Making it around the course was made more difficult with special activities at several holes to ensure there was something for everybody at the summer-time celebration.
Two teams would tie for first place. Morris Cross, Brian Olson, Ryan Olson and Scott Olson composed one first place team, while Mike Ohliger Jr., Dustin Enninga, Chad Listul and Kurby Steffen composed the other.
An auction auctioneered by Don Fitzner and karaoke followed the golfing.
To date the annual event has raised funds to award over $25,000 in scholarships to over 50 students. This year Friends of Cory donated $6,000 to 14 deserving Yellow Medicine East students.
