Pipestone Area 73, YME 49
The Arrows and Eric Stark’s game-high 26 points would prove to be too much for Yellow Medicine East as Pipestone Area defeated the Sting 73-49 Saturday night in Pipestone.
YME junior guard Taylor Olson would try to shoot the Sting back into the game knocking down four three-pointers, but it would all be for naught as the Arrows went for 42 points in the second half to put the Sting away. Olson would finish the game with 14 points along with a team high eight boards. Fellow junior backcourt mate Dylan Lindstrom would add another 13 points in the losing effort.
