Yellow Medicine County, in cooperation with Countryside Public Health Service, will be conducting free water testing for individuals with private water wells. The samples will be tested for the presence of coliform bacteria and nitrate nitrogen. The testing program is free of charge and is for Yellow Medicine County residents. The required testing kits can be picked up at one of the following locations before the testing dates. The kits include information on how to properly obtain a water sample and the schedule for the collection.
