Two from YME Silhouettes chosen for All-State Dance Team

Two of the Yellow Medicine East Silhouettes Dance team members, Brooke Meyer and Kayla Nordaune have been chosen for the MADT All-State dance team 2022. Brooke Meyer was chosen for the Class A High Kick Team, while Kayla Nordaune was chosen for the Class A Jazz team. Learn more about ice fishing online, in upcoming webinar

Now is a great time to prepare for ice fishing this winter and one place to start is the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources’ website. The DNR’s learn to ice fish page (dnr.state.mn.us/ gofishing/learn-ice-fish.html) includes species-specific guides for everything from bluegill to walleye and tips to get started and safely enjoying time out on the ice. Additionally, anyone can register for a free webinar about ice fishing that will be held Wednesday, Jan. 12 at noon. I heard a comment the other day that it was good the early churches had so many issues, or we wouldn’t have many books in the New Testament and that’s very true. Of the 27 books in the New Testament, 21 are epistles. Epistles are letters written to churches and communities to help them understand how to live as Christians.

Dick & Elaine Petersen celebrated family Christmas at Debra & Tracy's in Minneapolis. Before a Scandinavian dinner, Christmas Eve hors d' oveurs were enjoyed outside by the firepit. Christmas day was a jigsaw puzzle time. Monday, Dec. 27th Nick & Taylor hosted a breakfast brunch at their apartment before granddaughters Taylor & Camille returned Dick & Elaine to Michael's at Hutchinson on their way to Clarkfield.
